Mary F. (Baldwin) Few (May 22, 1923 – October 11, 2015)

Mary F. (Baldwin) Few, of Zanesville, died at 6:30 am Sunday, October 11, 2015 at home. She was born on May 22, 1923, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Arthur B. and Della M. (Harrop) Baldwin.
She was loved and will be greatly missed by family and her two daughters, Karen K. Evans whom she lived with for nine years and Connie (Gary) Sheline. Survived also by eight grandchildren Greg (Amy) Evans of Virginia, Billy, Craig (Amanda), Chad, and Jason Evans all of Zanesville; Theresa S. Freeman of Sparks NV, Gary Jr. (Felicia) and Chris (Heather) Sheline of the Cleveland Ohio area 14 great-grandchildren, 2 1/2 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Shirley A. Hockingberry of Zanesville. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins Violet Kovaleski and Bernice Farmer, family and friends.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years Herman Few who died November 18, 1982 and whom she married on Sept, 22, 1940; a infant son, three brothers Jimmy, Billy and Herman Baldwin and three sisters; Enna Dunlap, June Smith and Louise Brumage and a son-in-law Carl L. Evans who died on Dec. 17, 1998

Mrs. Few worked as a nurse’s aide for both Zanesville hospitals in her earlier years, retiring at age 75. A special thank you to her nurses, care givers, and Hospice home care and a special thank you. to my sister for the very good care that she gave Mother.

Calling hours will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday October 13, 2015 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 West Military Road, Zanesville, Ohio 43701. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Snouffer Funeral Home Chapel, with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
