Z-ville Murder Suspect Indicted

A Zanesville man’s case goes before a Muskingum County Grand Jury Wednesday in connection with a fatal shooting incident. 21-year-old Joey Hampton was indicted on charges of aggravated murder with a firearm specification, having a weapon while under a disability and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle. Hampton is charged in connection with the shooting death of 21-year-old Donte Wolford at the Dairy Mart on Pine Street in September. Hampton is being held in the Muskingum County Jail.
