Williams Named Trooper of Year At Zanesville Post

The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced the Trooper of the Year Award for the Zanesville Post. 32-year-old Stephen Williams is being recognized  for outstanding service during the 2011 year. Fellow officers chose Trooper Williams based on leadership abilities, professional ethics, courteous treatment of others, enthusiastic work attitude and cooperation with supervisors, peers and the public. Trooper Williams is now in contention for the District and State Trooper of the Year Award to be announced at a later date. Williams joined the Highway Patrol in 2004 and is originally from Chandlersville and a graduate of Philo High School. He graduated from Miami University.
