Nowlin Murder Trial Underway

The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s office says the murder trial of a Columbus Man charged in the death of a Zanesville man started Monday. 24-year-old Terrell Nowlin is charged in the death of 19-year-old Tyler Hardin last year. Nowlin is facing multiple charges including aggravated murder with a gun specification, conspiracy to aggravated murder, kidnapping, kidnapping with a gun specification, four counts of tampering with evidence and one count of gross abuse of a corpse. Nowlin’s wife Heather has already pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit murder, two counts of tampering with evidence and one count of gross abuse of a corpse. If convicted Nowlin faces life in prison.
