“Beat the Sniffles-Naturally”

Cold and Flu Season is here but it might not be as much about the weather and germs as it is about the food you’re eating.

The Zanesville Chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation has a monthly workshop devoted to promoting good health and well being through nutrition.

"I am a living example, as are the other members of our group, that what you eat does have a direct correlation," expressed Member Sharon Blythe. "We’re trying to get that information out to people so they can experience what we experience with good health."

This months workshop will take place Wednesday at the Trinity Presbyterian Church on Military Road. The workshop will focus on how to beat the cold and flu season-naturally.

"This time of year is sometimes called the cold and flu season, I call it the white flour and white sugar season," expressed Member Dr. Michele Encoignard. "We’re loading up on all these holiday goodies and what happens is it’s lowering our immune function."

All workshops are free and open to the public. For more information e-mail Sharon@thequiltshed.com or call (740) 454-9557
