James F. Patterson Jr. (June 26, 1930 – June 12, 2011)

James F. Patterson Jr. age 80 of Roseville passed away June 12, 2011 at The Ohio State University Medical Center. He was born June 26, 1930 in Zanesville a son of the late James F. and Iva Mauk Patterson. He had worked for National Plumbing Pottery, Indiana Glass, retired as Supervisor at the Muskingum County Home and was a member of Tree of Life Church.
He is survived by his wife Ethel Johnson Patterson, one daughter Cheryl (Lee) Martin of Zanesville; brother Gordon (Linda) Patterson of Lancaster, OH; three sisters Lois Kirby and Carol (Bob) Norton both of Zanesville and Patricia Kirk of Phoenix, AZ; four granddaughters Jana (Todd) Wise of Dennison, OH, Caryn (Jim) Reynolds of Lakewood, OH, Tracie Louck of Des Moines, IA, Brandie Louck of Oakland, CA and grandson Jared Arbuckle of New Castle, IN; two great grandsons Austin and Declan and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Debra Patterson, grandson Michael Burns and brother’s Phillip and Douglass Patterson.
At Jim’s request private graveside services were held at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held at 1pm Saturday June 18, 2011 at the Tree of Life Church on St. Rt. 146 E. Zanesville with Pastor Lee Barnhart officiating.
