William “Bill” E. Reed, 72, of Duncan Falls, passed away at 9:15 pm Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Adams Lane Care Center.

Bill was born April 9, 1939 in Zanesville, the son of the late Frank and Marjorie (Dulmage) Reed. He retired from Kroger Co. where he worked in Zanesville as the store manager and then in Columbus as the transportation manager. He was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church of Weatherford, TX and the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Evart, MI. He was a member of Evart Lodge #320 F&AM and he served his country in the US Army.

Bill is survived by his wife Jenene (Arnold) Reed whom he married February 13, 1960 and his son Jess (Virginia) Reed and two grandchildren Sara Reed and Liam Reed.

In keeping with bill’s wishes, his body will be cremated and no services will be held.
