Marcella “Marcy” L. Taylor Stansberry (November 29, 1953 – March 18, 2012)

Marcella “Marcy” L. Taylor Stansberry, 58, passed away at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital Sunday, March 18, 2012 after a sudden illness surrounded by family and friends. Marcy was born November 29, 1953 in Zanesville to the late Ralph Curtis and Helen Loomis Taylor. She worked at Brockway Glass and Wal-Mart and several other places throughout her life. She was a member of Eagles #302 Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary Post 29 and Y-City Harley Davidson group. Marcy loved being with her family, especially her grandkids. She loved going places and riding the Harley with her husband Bob. Marcy will also be missed by her and Bob’s puppy “Ralph”.
Marcy is survived by her husband Robert Lee Stansberry whom she married on Oct. 21, 1973. She was a loving wife and mother of two daughters: Lisa (Rob Holley) Stansberry, and Shanie (Mark) Merew; grandmother of four: Bobby Fraunfelter, Chris Stansberry, Austin Merew and Logan Merew; one sister, Ann (Jake) Creeks and one brother, Ralph Danny (Bev) Taylor.
In addition to her parents, Marcy was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Taylor and brother-in-law, William (Red Dog) Stansberry.
Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 W. MILITARY RD., ZANESVILLE, OH. and one hour prior to services on Thursday, March 22 with the funeral service being at 11 am with Pastor Mike McGuire officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
