ZANESVILLE
Ronald D. Kuhn, 70 of Zanesville passed away March 19, 2012 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. He was born April 8, 1941 in Zanesville a son of the late George Walter and Opal Rose Spinks Kuhn. He worked for the Racine Co.- Bosch Hydraulics in Zanesville. Ronald served his country and protected our freedoms by serving in the United States Navy. He was past Commander of the American Legion Post 29 in Zanesville having served as Commander four times.
Ronald is survived by his wife Linda Lovejoy-Grimes Kuhn; one son Dustin Kuhn (Tina) and grandson whom he often referred to as “Little Buddy” Alex all of Zanesville; brothers and sisters Russell (Marilyn Kuhn of Hopewell, Larry Kuhn of Mineral City, OH, Rose Schmidt and Kathy (Alan) Law of Zanesville; Special friend and sister-in-law Joanne Richardson. Several nieces and nephews, Fishing Buddy Bob Schmidt and lifetime friend Larry Bishoff.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers and sisters Phyllis Massey, Billy, Jerry, Wayne, Gene and Sharon Kuhn.
Calling hours will be held 12-2 and 4-6pm on Thursday March 22, 2012 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 W. MILITARY RD. ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 6pm Thursday in the Snouffer Chapel with Jim Morehead Chaplin of American Legion Post 29 officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the George Selsam Post 1058 of the VFW Zanesville. Burial will take place at a later date in Zanesville Memorial Park.
