Warren L. “Hot Rod†Archer, 59 of Roseville, passed away 3:30 pm Tuesday April, 3 2012 at Genesis Good Samaritan Medical Center.
Hot Rod was born September 9th 1952 in Zanesville the son of the late Clarence and Mildred (Pride) Archer. He worked for numerous potteries and for Wrecking Corp of America and he traveled across the country on various demolition projects and he served his country in the US Army.
Hot Rod is survived by his 3 daughters Missy (Tracey) Hartley of Roseville, Shelley (John) Ormond of Zanesville and Amy (Tim) Drake of Roseville; the mother of his children Marsha Archer of Zanesville; one brother Tom (Ruby) Archer of WV; his grandchildren Blake and Bailey Hartley, EJ and Abby Ormond and Hannah and Ben Drake and several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and special friends.
In addition to his parents, Hot Rod is preceded in death by his brother Larry Archer, a sister Cathy Archer and a granddaughter Brookelynn Hartley.
Visitations will be 4 to 7 Friday at the Farus Funeral Home, Duncan Falls where funeral services will be 11 am Saturday with Pastor Joe Rolland officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Rosehill Cemetery in Roseville with Flag presentation by the VFW Post #1058.
