Shirley Ann Rice, 72 of Zanesville passed away Friday April 6, 2012 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born in Zanesville on August 29, 1939 a daughter of the late Gerald and Luella Walsh Grubb. She worked in property management and attended the Methodist Church.
Shirley is survived by one son Richard Rice; two brothers Richard Grubb of Indiana and Bob Grubb of Zanesville; one sister Geraldine “Geri” Wohs of Las Vegas; seven granddaughters;12 great grandchildren and special friend George L. Sheppard.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gene A. Grubb; one daughter Tamara Sue Rice and one sister Juanita Paxson.
Calling hours will be held 9am until time of services at 11am on Tuesday April 10, 2012 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 W. MILITARY RD. ZANESVILLE with Alan Ranck officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
