Marjorie E. Stevens (October 25, 1927 – April 22, 2012)

Marjorie Elizabeth Stevens, 84, of Zanesville, passed away at 9:19 PM Sunday April 22, 2012 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital.
Marjorie was born October 25, 1927 in Muskingum County the daughter of the late Lester and Mildred Bebout Leasure. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Marjorie was a long time member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church who was very active in church functions especially the banquets.
Surviving Marjorie is her husband of 65 years Joseph “Joe” A. Stevens, daughters: Beverly (Craig) Watt of Marion, Stephanie (Bob) Paul of Zanesville and Stacey (Scott) Sorrell of Columbus, grandchildren: Heather (Joe) Barnes, Amanda (John) Marshall, Courtney Paul, Kaleigh Paul all of Columbus, Kelli Paul of Zanesville and Sydney Sorrell of Columbus, great grandchildren: Abbie Barnes and Jack and Owen Marshall all of Columbus, sisters: Dorothy Morgan of Norwich and Bonnie Bush of Zanesville and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, brother: Jack Leasure, brothers-in-law: Bill Morgan and Leroy Bush.
Visitation will be 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 Wednesday April 25, 2012 at Bryan & Snider Funeral Home 2318 Maple Ave. where services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday April 26, 2012 with Pastor Linda Morrow officiating. Committal service will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
