Zanesville Continues To Find Ways to Win
H.S. Boys Basketball:
Coshocton 45 Zanesville 53 OT
Once again, the Zanesville Blue Devils make it hard on themselves, but get it done in the end. Zanesville enjoyed a lead as big as 14 in the first half of the game, leading by nine points at halftime. Coshocton battled back, tying the game at the end of three quarters at 29. Down the stretch, Coshocton looked like they had it won with great free throw shooting, but a three from Thomas Wibbeler ended regulation with the game tied at 42
The Blue Devils outplayed Coshocton in the extra frame to the tune of an 11-3 margin. Zanesville remains undefeated in ECOL play at 6-0, running their overall record to 8-2. Blue Devils next game is on the road next Friday at Meadowbrook.

The Bishops are finding out that it’s tough to win on the road in the ECOL as once again they fell in a close game on the road. Rosecrans had a chance to seal the game at the free throw line but were unable to do so misses free throws at the end of regulation that allowed Marco Columbo to force over time, and then watching JaVohn Marrow a three pointer at the buzzer to win it in overtime. The Bishops have dropped back to back games for the first time in two years and still sit one game back of the division lead in the ECOL grey.
