Violet Eileen Henry (June 21, 1923 – July 5, 2012)

Violet Eileen Henry 89 of Zanesville, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Willow Haven Nursing Home.

She was born June 21, 1923 in Chandlersville, Ohio to the late Matthew Huntsman and Sophia Baker Huntsman. She worked as a home health aide for many years and was a member of the North Terrace Church of Christ in Zanesville.

Violet is survived by her loving children Larry (Patti) Henry of Cincinnati, Ohio, Gary Henry of Alexandria, Louisiana and Matthew Henry of Alexandria Louisiana. Brother Eduard M. Huntsman of Miami, Florida. Also surviving are her grandchildren Robert Patrick, Ryan Douglas and Claudia Renee Henry.

In addition to her parents, Violet is preceded in death by her former husband, J. Elliot “Pat” Henry who died in 1989. Her 6 brothers: Bill, Richard, Arthur, Harry, Dale and George Huntsman, 4 sisters: Margaret DeLucas, Ethel Huntsman, Mae Archer, and Pearl Kelso.

The family is being served by the BRYAN & SNIDER FUNERAL HOME, 2318 Maple Ave. where friends may call from 4-7 pm Tuesday, July 10, 2012. Visitation will continue Wednesday from 10 AM on until the time of service at 11 AM, with Rev. William Meaige officiating. Interment will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in White Cottage
