ZPD Searches For 2 Missing People

Zanesville Police are searching for two missing area residents. Detective Sergeant Ric Roush says 33-year-old Laurie Flowers of 822 McIntire Avenue was last seen on January 4th. She is described as a white female, about 5 feet two inches tall, 140 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a Dale Earnhart Jr. jacket and an Ohio State knit cap. Zanesville Police are also looking for 45-year-old David Opel of 920 Curtis Street. He was last seen on January 4th. He is described as a white male, around 5 feet nine inches tall 170 pounds with spiked blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, white shoes, red shirt with black sleeves and a denim jacket. Detective Roush says its possible two missing people are together, but that has not been verified. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call Zanesville Police.
