Gloria A. Brent (January 22, 1936 – April 21, 2014)
Gloria A. Brent, 78 of Zanesville passed away at 12:10pm Monday, April 21, 2014 at the Rehabilitation & Health Center of Gahanna in Columbus.
She was born on January 22, 1936 in Detroit, MI the daughter of Albert and Della (Goins) Viney.
Gloria was a member of Church of God & Saints of Christ, and was employed for many years at Kay Bowling & Supply, NCR in Cambridge & also Mosaic Tile. She enjoyed bowling & was on several bowling leagues.
She is survived by three children, Howard E. (Linda) Brent of Zanesville, William J. “Josh” (Deborah) Brent Jr. of Columbus, and Kathy S. Brent of Columbus. Her grandchildren, Sean D. Brent, Shala A. Brent-Willis, William J. “Josh” Brent III, Jennifer M. Brent, Maria E. Brent, Julie M. Brent, Joi M. Brent, Paul E. Clayborn III; nine great grandchildren, a sister Bertha “Teenie” Viney Norris Vigus of Cambridge, a brother Ralph Ackerman of Ecourse, MI, and numerous nieces & nephews. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William J. Brent Sr. and nine brothers & sisters.
Friends may call from 11am to 1pm on Monday, April 28, 2014 at the Bryan & Snider Funeral Home where services will follow at 1pm with Elder Mark Cunningham officiating. Burial will conclude at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
