Eileen Maxwell (December 9, 1936 – October 6, 2014)

Eileen Maxwell, 77, of Zanesville passed away on Monday October 6, 2014 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital.
Eileen was born in Zanesville on December 9, 1936 to the late Charles Wesley and Alice Morris Barnhart. She was a former Nurse’s Aide at several area nursing homes.
She is survived by her three children Vernon D. (Kelly) Maxwell Jr., Teresa Maxwell (George) Blue , and Michael E. (Lou Ann) Maxwell all of Zanesville. Six grandchildren: Vernon D. Maxwell III, Karissa Star Maxwell, Chase M. Maxwell, Kyle S. Maxwell, Kevin A. Blue, and Colt B. Maxwell, a great grandson Rhyder Dalton Smith, her faithful friend and companion Jerry Imes of Zanesville, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Vernon D. Maxwell Sr., her second husband Richard Maxwell, and eight siblings: Jimmy, Charles, Dwight, Robert, Earl, Ronald, Jane ,and Laverna.
Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Wednesday October 8 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Thursday in the Snouffer Chapel with Minister Tony Maple officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
