Catherine Elizabeth Moore (June 27, 1917 – January 16, 2015)

Catherine E. Moore, 97, formerly of Zanesville, passed away on Friday January 16, 2015 at Western Reserve Masonic Community in Medina.

She was born June 27, 1917 in Adamsville the daughter of the late Edward H. and Lilly Bainter Gosser. A former beautician Catherine was a 72 year member of Central Presbyterian Church where she was a former Deacon, member of Women’s Association and a Stephens’s ministry leader.
Catherine was a 75 year member of Laura #264Chapter of Eastern Star, where she was a past Matron. She was also a 50 year charter member of Garden Club Trade and Spade.
Plus she was a volunteer at Bethesda Hospital for many years.

Catherine is survived by daughter: Karen (Joe) Musarro of Medina, sons: Robert (Phyillis) Moore of Albuquerque, NM and Richard (Karen) Moore of Norwalk, grandchildren:
Deanna (Alan) Piatak, Steven (Darcy) Bajko, and Amanda Moore, great grandchildren: Jessica, Natalie, and Jack Piatak, and Calvin Bajko.

Preceding her death were her parents, husband: Glenn L. Moore, sisters: Ruth Studer, Margaret Knicely, and Doris Wysong and brother: Karl Gosser and great grandson Jarod Piatak.

Visitation for Catherine will be 4:00PM-7:00PM Thursday January 22, 2015 and Friday January 23, 2015 prior to the service 11AM- 12PM. at Bryan &Hardwick Funeral Home 2318 Maple Ave. Zanesville, where funeral services will be at 12:00PM with Rev. Ray Morrison officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
