Betty Jean Glass (March 9, 1925 – January 31, 2015)

Betty Jean Glass, 89, of Zanesville, passed away at 9:05 AM Saturday January 31, 2015 at Genesis Morrison House Hospice.
She was born March 9, 1925 in Lawrenceburg, IN the daughter of the late James Clinton and Margaret Geyer Sams. Betty was a homemaker and a member of Sonora United Methodist Church where she was a former pianist.
Betty is survived by one son: Kim (Beth) Glass of Zanesville, daughters-in-law: Beth Glass and Georgene Glass both of Zanesville, sisters: Carol Huff of Zanesville and Ada Beach of Sonora, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband: Richard C. Glass, 2 sons: James Glass and Timothy Glass, 2 sisters: Peggy Martin Kinsey and Patricia Grant.
Visitation will be 12:30 until time of service at 2:30 pm Tuesday February 3, 2015 at Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home 2318 Maple Ave. Pastor Roger Morrow will officiate followed by committal services at St. Paul Cemetery near Sonora.
Betty’s family would like to thank the caregivers at Clay Gardens and Morrison House Hospice for the excellent care provided to Betty.
