Becky Shaw (June 24, 1941 – February 3, 2015)

Becky Schusterman Shaw, 73, of Zanesville, died at 11:30 P.M. Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born June 24, 1941, in Chicago, IL, a daughter of the late Rev. Edwin C. Gordon and Vivian Meade Gordon Stevenson. She was the former co-owner of Robert’s Jewelers, an avid gardener, and a bird watcher.
Surviving are her husband of 22 years, James Shaw, whom she married May 25, 1992, of the home; two sons, Jay Schusterman of Punta Gorda, FL, and Todd (Tara) Schusterman of Ft. Myers, FL; four stepchildren, James Aaron Shaw of FL, Jolene Newton of Michigan, Judy Sohrenssen of Texas, and Julie Hartzler of Eaton, OH; five grandchildren, Alison Todd, Kayla Schusterman, Joshua Schusterman, Jennifer Fries, and Kaitlyn Schusterman; two great grandchildren, Cohen and Declan; five step grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; a sister Meg E. (Bill) Turner of Zanesville; and a sister-in-law Donna Mae Robison of White Cottage.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband J. Lee Schusterman, who died in 1987; her step father Ralph Stevenson; her step granddaughter Chlaine Sohrenssen; her step son-in-law Steven Sohrenssen; and her loving dog Libby.
Friends and family may call from 4:00-7:00 P.M. on Friday, February 6, 2015, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 7, 2015, with Rev. Mark Matzke officiating. She will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
