OBIT FOR: ROBERT “BOB” E. MARTIN , 65
Robert “Bob” E. Martin , 65 of Zanesville, died at 1:09 PM Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the Genesis Good Samaritan Medical Center CCU following a short illness.
He was born on October 16, 1949 in Morgantown, WV the son of Clyde and Winola (McLaughlin) Martin.
Bob was a Navy Veteran during the Vietnam War, retired from Central Ohio Coal and enjoyed golfing.
He is survived by his wife Becky J. (Stemm) Martin; 4 children, Angela Tokie, Amy Helms, and twins Darin & Darrel Martin; step-daughter Nikki (Fred) Schwartzmiller; several grandchildren; 3 sisters, Dorthy (James) Blaney, Judith (John) Kolibab & Vicki (James) Buhaley. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Scheryl Martin.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 pm & 5 to 7 pm on Monday, February 16, 2015 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. where Funeral services with Military honors will begin after visitation at 7pm.
