Mary Louise “Mary Lou” Reed Scott (April 21, 1938 – February 17, 2015)

ZANESVILLE
Mary Louise “Mary Lou” Reed Scott, 76 of Zanesville, passed away Tuesday February 17, 2015 at Primrose. She was born April 21, 1938 in Caldwell, OH a daughter of the late Dean A. and Gladys Elizabeth Weekley Reed. She graduated from Columbus Business University, worked at the Columbus State Library and the Saxbe Law Firm, secretary at Mosaic Tile, Rankin Insurance Company and Sears. She was a care giver of 26 years to her son Greg who was injured in an auto accident. She was a longtime active member of Euclid Ave United Methodist Church, enjoyed boating and cooking and was an avid fan of Football.
Mary Lou was very dedicated to her family and is survived by her loving husband Thomas “Vic” Scott; daughters Elizabeth “Liz” (Jim) Satin of Saline, MI and Cheryl (Cherrie) (Doug) Matthews of Blacklick, OH; son Gregory “Greg” Scott; special granddaughters Amanda (Mandy) and Anne (Annie) Satin of Saline, MI.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Roland “Ronnie” Reed , William “Bill” Reed and nephew Jim Reed.
Calling hours will be held from 5-8pm on Friday February 20, 2015 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE and 10am until time of funeral services at 11:00 am Saturday, February 21, 2015 in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Matt Blau officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
