Stephen “Steve†M. Jones “Jones Eâ€, 80 of Zanesville died at 3:20 PM Friday, March 06, 2015 at the Genesis Good Samaritan Medical Center.
He was born on December 18, 1934 in Harrison County the son of Edward and Dorothy Mehollin Jones.
Steve was a long time member of the Muskingum Presbyterian Church and an Army Veteran. He retired from Graham Equipment, was a member of the Irville Masonic Lodge # 184, Amrou Grotto, Alladin Shrine, Vivi Shrine Circus Daddy, Farm Bureau, Ruritan and the American Legion. Steve enjoyed Tractor Pulls and was an Auction Enthusiast.
He is survived by a daughter, Ina Marie Roberts and a son Patrick Edward Jones; his grandchildren, Eric, Jenny, Ashley and Aaron; first cousins, John D. Arnold and Debbie Malloy; a special friend, Louise Edwards and numerous cousins. Steve was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Karen Jones Smith.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 pm & 6 to 8 pm, with Irville Masonic Lodge # 184 conducting services at 3:30 pm on Tuesday, March 10th at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 11th at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home with Pastor Donna Edsall officiating. Burial with military honors will conclude at the Muskingum Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Gorsuch Rd., Nashport OH.
