OBIT FOR: LEONARD ABNER NEFF, 81
Leonard Abner Neff, 81 of Zanesville died at 2:45 am Wednesday, April 01, 2015 at the Genesis Morrison House Hospice.
He was born on November 17, 1933 in Zanesville, Ohio the son of Warren and Elizabeth (Ziemba) Neff.
Leonard was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and a US Navy veteran having served in Korea. He retired from Rockwell International in 1986 after 30 years of service; was a life member of both the American Legion & the VFW. Leonard enjoyed working on cars, golfing with his buddy Jack Hardwick & riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by two sons, Joe (Cynthia) Neff & Sam Neff of Zanesville; grandchildren, Megan Neff, Chelsea Neff, Austin Neff, Marissa Neff and Joseph Neff; two brothers, Dave (Christy) Neff & Tom Neff; a sister Jean Donnelly; several nieces & nephews and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Linda L. (Savage) Neff, his brothers, Jim Neff, Thadeus Neff, Warren Neff & a sister Francis Neff.
Friends may call 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, April 03, 2015 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home where funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM with Fr. Peter Fegan, O.P., officiating. Burial with Military honors will conclude at the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
