Jeffrey Lynn Norman (September 8, 1958 – May 25, 2015)

Jeffrey Lynn Norman of Plantsville, Ohio passed away suddenly on Monday May 25, 2015 in Nashville, Tennessee, during a return trip from Ft Hood, Texas. Jeff was born in Zanesville, Ohio on September 8, 1958 to the late Gerald and Emily Needham Norman. He was a United States Army Veteran and had served as a Spec IV in Germany. Jeff was forced to retire after being injured while working for the City of Columbus. He had also worked as commissary supervisor at the Donatos Pizza warehouse. Jeff worked on an oil drilling rig in Rangley, Colorado after his military service.. He attended Bethel Ridge Wesleyan Methodist Church in Plantsville, Ohio and Good Shephard Church in Lancaster, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Lori Norman; three daughters, Lola Marie Hunter, Latasha “Nikki†Nicole Norman and Monica Lynn (Anthony) Keyes and one son, Quentin Gregory Norman; six grandchildren Sherman Gilbert, Aerial Hunter, Logan Hunter, Anthony “Tripp†Keyes III, Antwane Keyes and Antonio Keyes; four brothers Larry (Karen) Norman, Ricky (Tesa) Norman, Tommy Norman and Gerald (Nancy) Norman; five sisters, Teresa (Monty) Felix, Bonnie Mayle, Darlene Norman, Phyllis Newman, and Michelle Norman; In-laws which include mother-in-law Margaret Walker and father-in-law Leroy Walker; sister-in-law’s and brother-in-law’s Cynthia and Thomas Engram, Terri and Lonnie Flowers, Marcia and Harry Campbell and Suzette and Leroy Walker Jr. Jeff is also survived by a host of very special nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, including James Hill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Billy, Martin, and Michael Norman; and sisters Gladys Newman and Brenda Norman. Calling hours will be 4-8pm on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Family will receive callers one hour prior to the funeral services, which will be held at 1pm on Monday, June 1, 2015 in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastors Steve Hale and James Dexter officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hermon Cemetery, Amesville, Ohio on SR 550 between Sharpsburg and Barlett, Ohio.
