Rev. Floyd H. Starr Jr. (March 3, 1947 – July 13, 2015)

ZANESVILLE
Rev. Floyd H. Starr Jr., 68 of Zanesville, passed away Monday July 13, 2015 at his residence. He was born March 3, 1947 in Middletown, OH, a son of the late Floyd H. Sr. and Wanda Roberts Starr.
Throughout his life he served as a Pastor with the Presbyterian Church USA. He pastored churches in Coldwater, KS, Wakeeney, KS, Man Hattan, KS, Cedar Rapids, IA, Hoxie, KS, Lexington, NE, Mason, MI, Crescent Springs, KY and Trinity Presbyterian Church in Zanesville, OH.
Floyd is survived by his close friend and caregiver Bryan Ruff and his children Bryson and Lily and numerous parishioners in the various churches he served over the years.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother William E. Starr.
Calling hours will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 on Friday July 17, 2015 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE, OH. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday July 18, 2015 at Central Presbyterian Church 40 N 6th Street Zanesville with Rev. Ray Morrison officiating. Burial will be in Wakeeney City Cemetery in Wakeeney, KS.
