Mary M. “Rita” LeMasters (November 27, 1940 – July 29, 2015)

ZANESVILLE
Mary “Rita” LeMasters, 74 of Zanesville died peacefully at Genesis Hospice Morrison House after a long illness. She was born November 27, 1940 in Zanesville a daughter of the late George and Mary Morehead McConnell.
Rita had worked at Tom’s Ice Cream Bowl, Brighton Ice Cream and retired from Akro.
She is survived by three children Karin (Carl) Morrison of Frazeysburg, OH, Kathy LeMasters and Keith LeMasters both of Zanesville; one brother G. Richard McConnell of Columbus, OH and one sister Alma (Richard) Leasure of Titusville, FL ; four grandchildren Carrie (Curtis) Yost of Hilliard, OH, Chris (Shae) Morrison of Pickerington, OH, Kyle (Lindsay) Morrison of Mason, OH and Craig (Krybie) Morrison Adamsville, OH; 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; two special foster daughters Donna (Mike) Maurice and family of Hammond, IN and Connie (Ron) Bishop and family of Coshocton, OH; her best “Dog Friend Molly” and lifelong friends Mary Settles, Vickie Stemm and Darlene Barker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers David, Don and John “Dan” McConnell; sister Wilma Beavers; sister-law’s Pat and Faye McConnell.
She will be missed by all.
