David Doughty Harris (January 21, 1935 – August 11, 2015)

ZANESVILLE
David Doughty Harris 80 of Zanesville passed away Tuesday August 11, 2015 at his residence. He was born January 21, 1935 in Zanesville a son of the late Harold C. and Ruth A. Doughty Harris. He was retired from Grief Brothers and had formerly worked at National Plumbing and potteries. Currently he was a member of Norval Park Church of Christ and previously at Zane Trace and Chandlersville Church of Christ. He was a graduate of Lash High School, loved the Lord, nature, reading, music and walking.
David is survived by his wife Barbara Gossett Harris; one son Daniel M. (Kim) Harris of Athens; one daughter Lucinda S. “Cindy” (John) Beardsley of Roseville; one sister Jeannine (Floyd Hogue) Hannum of Zanesville; three grandchildren Matthew D. (Brenda) Beardsley, Jessica S. (Jared) Greene and Mark D. Harris; four great grandsons Jensen Beardsley, Kyan Greene, Liam Greene and Devin Beardsley.
Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Thursday August 13, 2015 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday August 14, 2015 in the Snouffer Chapel with Minister Keith Kress officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
