Elaine Ann Joseph (April 5, 1950 – October 10, 2015)

Elaine Ann Joseph 65, of Zanesville went home to be with the Lord on Saturday October 10, 2015. She was born in Zanesville on April 5, 1950 to Gordon and Stella Jalbrzikowski Tomson.
Elaine was the Salutatorian of Rosecrans High School class of 1968, a graduate of Ohio University where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Social work, and retired from the City of Zanesville Water Department as Utility Supervisor with over 30 years of dedicated service. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Music was a big part of Elaine’s life, she was a member of Friendship VII Sweet Adeline’s. She is survived by her Husband Gary E. Joseph Sr. of the home, a son Matt (Lori) Joseph, a daughter Molly (Mike) Wheeler, her mother Stella Tomson all of Zanesville, a brother Mark (Elizabeth) Tomson of Baltimore, Ohio, a sister Marty Tomson (Dave) Ingram of Newark, three grandchildren: Jeremy Joseph, Macey Wheeler, and Mason Wheeler, seven nephews, and three nieces. Calling Hours will be 1:30 to 3:30 and 5 to 8pm with a Prayer Vigil at 7:30 on Thursday October 15, 2015 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Friday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church 925 Main Street Zanesville, Ohio with Father Ty Tomson officiating. Burial will follow in Mt.
