Betty King Ford (May 7, 2015 – October 18, 2015)

Betty King Ford, 95 of Zanesville, passed away on Sunday October 18, 2015 at Bennington Glen in Marengo, Ohio. She was born May 7, 1920 in Columbus to the late James N. and Hazel M. Stevens Strawser. She was a homemaker and a secretary at King Realty which was the family business. She was a member of Zanesville First Church of the Nazarene, where she was a member of the Senior Adult Class, the church choir, played the piano and did special singing. She was also a member of the Sunbury Riding Club, Olentangy Riding Club, Ohio Western Horse Association, Delaware Country Club, and Delaware Riding Club.
She is survived by her son: Gary (Debbie) King of Marengo, a daughter; Bonnie (Bill) Patterson of Marengo, and a step-daughter Verna Smith of Colorado. Five grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by; her first husband Robert W. King, second husband Charles Ford, a step daughter; Rachel Ford, brothers, Jack N. and James R. Strawser.

Calling hours are from 9 – 12 Noon on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral Services will follow at 12 Noon in the Snouffer Funeral Chapel with Pastor Steven Dupler officiating. Burial will be at The Forest Lawn Cemetery in Columbus.
