Landon Clark Long (April 16, 1920 – January 30, 2016)

CROOKSVILLE
Landon Clark Long, 95 of Crooksville passed away January 30, 2016 at Genesis of New Lexington. He was born in Stockport, OH on April 16, 1920 a son of the late Silas and Sylvia Grossclose Long. He owned Long’s Jewelers in Crooksville and McConnelsville and served in the Army Air Corp as a Pilot during WW II. He enjoyed Golfing, fishing and dancing.
Landon is survived by two sons John (Marsha) Long of Heath and Larry Long of Fairmont, WV; one daughter Cheryl (David) Rambo of Crooksville; 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by His wife Dorothy Dugan Long, a great granddaughter, and one brother Leighton Long.
At his request no calling hours will be held and a private graveside service will take place at Iliff Cemetery, Crooksville. THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE has the distinct honor of serving the Long family.
