James L. Elmore (November 29, 1947 – January 31, 2016)
James L. Elmore , 68 of Zanesville died at 11:34 AM Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the Genesis Hospice & Palliative Care.
He was born on November 29, 1947 in Zanesville, Ohio the son of Robert B. and Mary Evelyn Black Elmore.
James was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and was employed at JJ’s Drive Thru on Linden Ave.
He is survived by; two sisters, and, a brother,: Ilene Tracy of Zanesville and Margaret (Weldon) Kreis of Adamsville and Donald G. (Joyce) Elmore of Zanesville; nine nieces & nephews, Diane Elmore, Loraine (Ed) Wheeland, Robert (Shayla) Allen, William Allen, Lynn Elmore, Todd (Lynnie) Elmore, Kenneth Elmore, Michelle (Dennis) Kimberlin, Matthew (Lori) Kreis; and numerous great nieces & nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Robert David Elmore and Richard D. Elmore.
Friends may call 11 am to 1pm on Thursday, February 04, 2016 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home where funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Bill Pittman officiating. Burial with Military Honors will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
