Planes Park At Home Depot

If you were driving down Maple Avenue today, you may have seen something that looked like it didn’t belong.

As a part of customer appreciation, Home Depot, along with the help of Parr Airport, organized an event that had sixteen planes make their way along Northpointe Road into the Home Depot parking lot.

"Well it’s incredible. The way that the community pulls together. We try to do something to give back to our customers and that’s what this is all about," says Home Depot Event Coordinator Frank Berlo.

Robert Norman with Parr Airport says, "Well, it’s exciting. Typically people come to the airport. In this case, we’re coming to the people."

The events throughout the day included music, food, a model plane display, and an up-close look at the bigger planes.

"My favorite part of today is just being out here around the airplanes and seeing how many people really like them," says Evan Madinger.

This was the second year the event was organized and held at Home Depot.
