Local Man Arraigned on Felony Charges

A Zanesville man arrested last month in an attempted break-in appeared in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Wednesday.

38-year-old Isaac Washington III entered a not guilty plea to a second degree felony charge of burglary and a fifth degree felony charge of theft in front of Judge Kelly Cotrill.
 

The charges stem from an incident on June 17th where police found a window had been broken out of the Disabled American Veterans Building on Moxahala Avenue.
 

Police located Washington a short distance away on Adams Street and arrested him in connection to the incident. 

Washington is being held in the Muskingum County Jail.
