Shemika’s in Need of Adoption

Two years ago we introduced you to Shemika who was in search for a family. Today she continues looking for her perfect family.

Whether it’s picking out ice cream or which arcade game to tackle at Blitz, Shemika knows what she wants and that includes a family. This teen who’s always on the go has various interests.

"I like reading, cheerleading and I like movies," said the teen.

She also has an interest in both bowling and basketball and knows what she wants to be when she gets older.

"I want to be a cosmetologist and do cosmetology," said Shemika.

Shemika said her favorite book is Of Mice and Men and has plans for her family when she finds them.

"Sitting on the couch, watching television, doing my hair with my mom and tuck me into bed, reading stories with me."

Shemika’s social worker said that this teen needs a family that can provide unconditional love and can discover the person she’s meant to be. Shemika only wants one thing.

"Any kind of family. As long as I have family."
