Couple’s Baby Dies Prematurely

Couple's Baby Dies Prematurely

A Zanesville couple is going through some very hard times and are asking for your help.

15-year-old Brianna Frank and her boyfriend 17-year-old Tyler O’Connell were excited to be parents and ready to bring little Karleigh into the world. It was on Monday, they received the devastating news that through an ultrasound, their baby did not have a heart beat and had died.

"She was kicking, moving, healthy, we listened to her heartbeat every night on the player that I bought from Wal-mart," said Brianna and Tyler.

The couple tells us the baby was healthy but a problem with the umbilical cord is believed to have caused Karleigh’s death. And now, this couple needs your help for the funeral.

"Any bit of donations or anything that can go forward to the funeral would be greatly appreciated," said Tyler.

If you would like to make a donation, the Karleigh O’Connell and Frank Family Memorial Fund has been set up. Donations can be made at the Snouffer Funeral home on Military Road, the Dary Mart on Pine Street, the Exxon gas station on West Main or the Ridge Avenue Food Center. The funeral for Karleigh will be held this coming Monday at 11am at Snouffer Funeral Home.
