Philo Woman Pleads Guilty To Murder of Her Dad

A Philo woman Friday pleads guilty in the murder of her father. 19-year-old Jennifer Lynn McHenry appeared before Muskingum County Common Pleas Judge Mark Fleegle and pled guilty in the shooting death of her dad, 56-year-old Donald McHenry. The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office says in June of 2011 they were called to 660 Irish Ridge Road where they found Mr. McHenry in the front yard. In a 9-1-1 call at the time Jennifer McHenry claimed her father tried to kill her. Judge Fleegle ordered a pre-sentence investigation in the case. Her bond was continued at 1.5 million dollars.
