Second Woman Admits to Mobile Meth Lab
A Zanesville woman pleads guilty in connection with a rolling meth lab where a child was in the car.
30-year-old Atasia Burkett pled guilty in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Wednesday to one count of the illegal assembly of chemicals for manufacturing of drugs.
In January, a vehicle was pulled over on Linden Avenue in Zanesville and officers discovered a mobile meth lab.
Burkett, 25-year-old Stephanie Campfield and 27-year-old John Campfield were arrested. The Campfield’s two-year-old child was also in the car.
Judge Kelly Cottrill ordered a pre-sentence investigation in Burkett’s case. She remains in the Zanesville City Jail.
Last week Stephanie Campfield also pled guilty in connection with the case.
