UPDATE: Juvenile Driver Hits Student

A 14-year-old student getting off of a Maysville school bus was hit by a car on Thursday afternoon.

It happened near the intersection of Shaw and Greenhouse Roads in Zanesville.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old juvenile ran over the student’s foot.

The student was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital with minor injuries.

The patrol said the driver was cited for failure to keep assured clear distance ahead.
