Man Found Dead on Frozen Seneca Lake

Authorities say hypothermia is believed to be the cause of death of a man whose body was found on frozen Seneca Lake.
 

The Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office reports that around 11:30 p.m.  Monday, Deputies responded to a call on Sunset Drive at the Seneca Lake Region regarding an unresponsive male.
 

When Deputies arrived on the scene they were met by the 55- year-old man’s mother who told authorities that her son went on a walk around 5 p.m. and didn’t return home.
 

The man’s body was located around 11:30 p.m. on the frozen lake.

Investigators say there is no suspected foul play.
