Madson Signs With Fairmont State

West Muskingum Tornado Sabrina Madson officially realized her dream of playing college basketball on Wednesday, signing a letter of intent to Fairmont State.

The forward plans to major in education at the Division II school, which is located about two and a half hours away in Fairmont, W.Va.

"I really like Fairmont’s recruiting process because it was like, ‘If we like you, we’re getting you on our campus and we’re going to offer you,’" Madson said. "I knew Fairmont was sure about me, so I was going to be sure about Fairmont… The team is already family to me and I’m not even there yet, so I knew it was going to be family." 

Madson is entering her first season as a Tornado, having previously played for Zanesville.
