Zanesville Daybreak Makes Donation to The Salvation Army

The Rotary Club of Zanesville Daybreak honored the Rotary’s motto of "Service Above Self" Saturday.
Rotarians rang those familiar bells for the Salvation Army’s red kettle campaign. Daybreak’s President Doug Waltman says club members donated their time at Kroger today to help The Salvation Army.
"Because they do good things for the community and provide a shelter, and they’re just a great organization," said Waltman.
Aside from risking frost bite to collect donations for The Salvation Army, the Rotary Club of Zanesville Daybreak also donated $500.00 that the club had previously raised. Members presented the check to representatives from the Salvation Army Saturday.
"We basically just completed our 12 Days of Christmas project where we sell raffle tickets around the community and give prizes away every day. We just completed that project. Just one of our many things we give money back to the community for," Waltman stated.
