Voters Heading To Polls

Ten states including Ohio are taking part in the "Super Tuesday" Primary Election.

Polls will remain open in Ohio until 7:30 p.m.

Muskingum County Board of Elections Director Chris Hamill said when voters arrive at the polls Tuesday, they need to have a current form of I.D. in order to cast their ballot.

"It can be a bank statement, a public-issued document, your drivers license, Ohio ID. It could be a Military ID, and that does not have to show and address," said Hamill.

Hamill said registered voters in Muskingum County can visit the Board of Elections’ website to preview the ballot.

"If you would like you can go to our website, and if you click on the icon that says, "Preview Your Ballot," you can pull up your ballot that you will be voting on Election Day, and you’ll know exactly what it will be when you go to the polls," added Hamill.

Hamill said she’s predicting a low voter turnout of 29%.
