Z-ville Man Indicted For Human Trafficking

Muskingum County Prosecutor Mike Haddox says a Zanesville man has been indicted on human trafficking charges…the first time ever such an indictment has been brought forward by a Muskingum County Grand Jury. In fact 32-year-old Derek Jamison of 2810 East Pike is facing a total of 46 counts on everything from compelling prostitution, illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material or performance to compelling prostitution. Haddox says Jamison is already in custody in the Muskingum County Jail awaiting sentencing on both trafficking and possession of drug charges. Here is the complete list of charges Jamison is facing: 11 count of compelling prostitution, 9 counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, 3 counts of trafficking in marijuana, 17 counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material or performance, 3 counts of human trafficking and 3 counts of having a weapon while under a disability.
