A Community Recovery Benefit

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Zanesville Moose Lodge will be holding a family friendly, community recovery, fundraising concert from Noon to 11, Saturday.

The event, titled ‘Come Together’ will be a cash only event that features six area bands with all proceeds going to the Muskingum County Community Foundation’s flood relief program. Zanesville Moose Lodge #867 President Kit Zeune described what attendees can expect.

“We’ll be having a charity event for flood victims Saturday, the 10th, Noon to 11. All bands, all day. Food, fun, entertainment. We’ll have plenty of raffles, 50/50s, drawings… Family is more than welcome, public is welcomed. We are a family fraternity, so families are welcome,” Zeune said.

Items that are expected to be raffled will range from cash and gift cards to gift baskets, to local business goods and services, to outdoor recreation items, tools and equipment.

“There’s six bands,” Zanesville Moose Lodge #867 Vice President Denny Jameson said. “Each one of them is 100 percent contributing all their time and their skills to help with the fundraiser. There is a list of bands on our website. If you want to go in and see somebody that, you know, you’d like to see. We encourage everybody to come out and just enjoy the bands with the rest of us along with all the good food.”

The Zanesville Moose Lodge is located at the intersection of U.S. 40 and Kopchak Road, out on the West Pike. For further details you can call (740) 453-6008.
