AEP Working on Power Outages

Power Outage

The storms that slammed through our region Monday evening knocked down trees and power lines and caused power outages. 

American Electric Power says in Muskingum County over 1,800 customers lost service and it may not be restored until 11:00 pm Tuesday. 

In Perry County 537 customers lost power restoration time for those in the Crooksville area is 11:00 pm Tuesday.

In Morgan County 216 are in the dark, in Coshocton County 79 customers are without power and in Guernsey County 79 AEP customers do not have service. 

Crews are working to repair the power outages.

For those traveling State Route 13 the Ohio Department of Transportation reports that the roadway is closed between Corning and 6 Mile Turn due to downed power lines. The road is expected to be closed through Tuesday morning.
