A great start to November with an Indian Summer
Out with the cold weather and bring out the flip flops, at least for now.
Monday was the beginning of what’s considered the Indian Summer and with the weather being in the upper 60’s everyone seems to be taking advantage of the warm weather. We spoke to some people at Bethesda Fitness Trail and at the Ohio University of Zanesville they all had just about the same feelings for today’s weather.
“It’s wonderful i love it, i wish it was this way all year,” said Mildard Millie Clapper.
“I am really enjoying it out here as you can see, i’m not even wearing a jacket, so that’s really nice. i’m really surprised. i thought that this warm weather was over with, but, i am glad that we still have a few days,” said Stephanie Ramsey.
“It’s beautiful! i had to come out in it. might be one of our last nice days so i had to take advantage,” said Nancy Wright.
“The weather is awesome today. it gives us a chance to take buddy for a walk. i get to be out in it too. i love these surroundings, i bring him almost everyday and we just try to add to it everyday. this week is supposed to be so nice, that we’re planning on being here as much possible,” said Ajuana Worthington.
With the warm weather taking place we wanted to know if this was what they would expected for this time of the year, most of them felt the same way.
“No, it should be cold and windy,”said Stephanie Ramsey.
“I thought the weather forecast said that it was going to be a fairly good week and not so good next week so i kind of think that it is our Indian Summer,” said Ajuana Worthington.
“You never know around here *laughing* what’s it’s going to be. But, this is great,” said Mildard Millie Clapper.
