A Look Ahead to ‘Countdown to Kickoff’

ZANESVILLE, OH – The high school football season is right around the corner, and in fact, it’s just over a week until first kick for local teams.

To help kick off the season, we have our annual ‘Countdown to Kickoff’ event coming up before you even know it. And we have that special event over at ‘The Barn’ on Linden Avenue in Zanesville.

We’ll hear from local coaches representing the MVL and Mid-State League ahead of another exciting fall season of football. ‘The Barn’ once again sets the stage for the live edition of ‘Countdown to Kickoff’, which will air both on Z92 radio and Highway 103 beginning at 6 p.m..

It promises to be another exciting edition as we prepare to countdown to the kickoff of the 2025 high school campaign.

“We’re excited to hear what all the coaches have in store for the season and hear about some of their star players. It’s always great to see MVL football come together. All the guys talking about what teams are going to be great, what players they have that are out there that are really going to be the key guys” says Jim Watson, owner of ‘The Barn’.

“So it’s just exciting for us just to hear that for the community and, and see all that excitement. For me, it’s all about relationships. Bringing those guys and welcoming them to ‘The Barn’.”

Watson adds that there will be pizza for the coaches and any family or friends that are there as well.
