A special Halloween Treat
Halloween is usually full of tricks, but this year one family got an extra special treat.
Meet the newest triplets born at Bethesda Hospital. Charleigh, Connor and Casey were born to Amanda and Ryan Bice on Friday. The Bice’s already have a 4-year-old and a 6-year-old and are excited to have the newest additions to their family.
"I think I was always kind of hoping I’d get twins, and then well that’s not going to happen and then you do and I got triplets," Amanda exclaimed in excitement. "It was crazy."
The birth was a planned c-section, and the Bice’s knew about the triplets during the tenth week of the pregnancy. So it wasn’t a surprise, but that didn’t stop the excitement of having three babies this weekend. After being in the hospital for nearly two weeks, that excitement is now,at least momentarily, shifting somewhere else.
"I’m so excited to go home because I’ve been here for awhile," Amanda said. She also talked about her two other children visiting the hospital. "They’ve been here twice, so they’re excited, but I think we’re all ready to just be home."
Amanda checked into the hospital on the 21st of October and finally got to go home with her triplets Monday.
