Ables Inc. honors veterans and announces Heat for Heroes winners

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Across the country today, people are sharing appreciation for those who have served in the military and Ables Incorporated in Zanesville was no exception.
The HVAC and electrical service company held a moment of silence around their flag pole at 11 this morning. This moment of silence was to symbolize the holidays origin when it was first Armistice Day because the armistice that ended World War I took place at the eleventh hour, on the eleventh day, on the eleventh month.
“It’s really great, everything that we’ve done. You know, it’s definitely a unique experience for sure,” said Justin Tyo, HVAC Residential Salesman at Ables Inc. “I can’t say that that happens a lot but that’s a new thing that we’re doing this year and we’re going to continue doing it every year.”
Ables Inc. also announced the winners of their 9th Annual Heat for Our Heroes furnace giveaway. The giveaway offers a free furnace with installation to a veteran in need of a new one. The winners this year were Larry Hatcher of Philo and Shannon Ramey of Avondale.
“When we make the phone calls here in a little bit to let the winners know, they will be ecstatic to know that they won and very appreciative and it’s a good feeling for all,” Tyo said.
